Its the time of the year were i get one year older :( . My birthday falls on a great Mexican festivail 'Day of the Dead' or 'Dia de los Muertos' traditional held on the 1st and 2nd of November. It celebrates the lost of family members, and community have colourful street parties, making and decorating the infamous sugar skull in which they place on a alter as a offing for family member which have passed away.
I love this time of the year, not only is it my birthday, but I love dressing up, making sugar skulls with my family and decorating my house.

I'm not Mexican so this isn't a tradition/celebration that has been in my family but from reading about it and seeing festivals it's amazing. I love that it's a time of celebrations for those that are loss. A negative turned more positive through this celebration!
